What dishes can I cook in the AbyAMC Rondeau?

The Rondeau is ideal for one-pot meals like vegetable dishes, pasta, risottos, stews, and braises. It’s especially effective for Cooking with Minimal Water and Steaming (with Easyquick and Softiera) thanks to its wide base and excellent heat distribution.
With the lid closed and temperature monitored using the Audiotherm, vegetables cook in their own natural moisture, preserving nutrients and flavor.

Which lids can I use for the Rondeau?

The Rondeau comes with a standard lid (including Visiotherm) and an Audiotherm. For Steaming you need the Easyquick and the Softiera. When supplemented with the Combi, larger quantities can also be steamed by stacking the elements on top of each other.

Is the Rondeau dishwasher safe?

Absolutely. The Rondeau is made from high-quality stainless steel and is 100% dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.

Can I use the Rondeau in the oven?

The AbyAMC Rondeau is ovenproof without the Audiotherm and Visiotherm (as these components are not oven-compatible you need to remove them before placing the Rondeau in the oven). You can use it for baking at standard oven temperatures. (max up to 230°C/ 446°F).
Attention: When using in the oven, be sure to use oven gloves, as the pot, including the handles, becomes very hot!
