What is the turning point symbol?

The turning point is the moment when your food — usually meat — has sealed and browned properly on one side and is ready to be turned. With A by AMC, the Audiotherm helps you spot this moment by reaching the roasting window, and giving signals when to act. No need to lift the lid or guess — just wait for the sound, then flip!

What does it mean when the symbol is flashing?

When the symbol on the Audiotherm is flashing, it means you're in the pre-heating phase. The system is heating up, and the Audiotherm is waiting for the Visiotherm to reach the ideal temperature for the selected cooking method.
As soon as the pre-defined  temperature is reached, you'll hear a signal, and the flashing stops — that’s your cue to take the next step, like adding ingredients or lowering the heat.

How do you place the Audiotherm on the lid
