The amount depends on what you’re frying (size), but typically fill the pot with 2–3 cm of oil or enough to fully submerge the food, leaving room to prevent overflow.
How do I know when the oil is hot enough?

- Place the pan on the stove and add the required amount of oil
- Close the lid, attach the Audiotherm and select the roasting zone
- Heat up to high, when the audiotherm indicates that the roasting zone has been reached, reduce to medium heat and start deep-frying your food

Can I reuse the oil after deep-frying?
You can reuse it if the oil hasn’t been overheated or contaminated with batter or breadcrumbs. Let it cool, strain, and store it in a clean container. Reuse max. 5 times depending on clarity and smell.
How do I clean the pan after deep frying?
Let the oil cool completely, strain it in case you can reuse it, and then clean the pan first with a kitchen towel wiping away the grease. Clean the frying pan afterwards with warm water, mild detergent, and a soft sponge or brush.
